Our Story is about the three generations of Vaish family invlolved in bespoke artmasnship.
Mr. Data Ram Vaish started his journey to the world of bespoke tailoring back in the 1940’s.

Influenced by meticulous British styling, his passion and dedication have been handed down through generations.His clientele included royalty, aristocrats, politicians, diplomats, celebrities and gentlemen from all walks of life.Mr Vaish’s store being located next to the iconic Regal Theatre in Connaught Place.

Regal was conceived by Sir Sobha Singh and designed by Walter Sykes George, the British architect who also designed St Stephen’s College.It had started as a venue for dramatic performances from English and Russian theatre groups, which then turned in to a cinema later.The who’s who of politics , including Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr Rajendra Prasad and Lord Mountbatten were among the visitors to the theatre.

Mr Data Ram Vaish was joined by his son J.K.Vaish in 1970s.
In ownership of an elite tailoring house, he lays emphasis on the classic English elegance, that the house style always drew inspiration from.
Our house styled bandhgalas then popularly known as ” Nehru Suit ” brought in the special fame to the business.
His unrivalled 50+ years of experience in tailoring make him a regularly quoted authority on the subject of dressing up in a suit.
His intimate knowledge of tailoring makes him invaluable to discerning customers.
Umang Vaish, the grandson joined the family business in 1990s, presently spearheading the unmatched legacy into its eighth decade.
Umang’s penchant for exquisite quality & finesse is what defines his discerning clientele base.
His knowledgeable dedicated team put together their finest workmanship to create exceptional garments.
